Tupac's Posthumous Album Released
November 25 [12:00 EDT] -- The earthly career of Tupac
Shakur continues with the posthumous release of his new album
"Are You Still Down." The LP, a collection of
tracks recorded between 1991 and 1994, is being released by
Jive Records in conjunction with the deceased artist's
mother, Afeni Shakur.
The first video for the track, "I Wonder If Heaven's
Got A Ghetto," will be reminiscent of Shakur's "I
Ain't Mad Atcha" video, with a Tupac look-alike driving
a bus to heaven, picking up other dead stars along the way.
Also, in "People" magazine this week, Tupac at
age seven is pictured with a comment from Afeni Shakur saying
that she still cries every time she hears her son's song
"Dear Mamma." She also says that Tupac's ashes
helped fertilize her vegetable garden.
