Rapper Killer Suspect Sketched

LOS ANGELES (AP) -- Two people in a vehicle with The Notorious
B.I.G. when the rap star was gunned down helped police come up
with a detailed drawing of the suspect.
The sketch, released Thursday, shows a man with a heart-shaped
face, a light, trimmed mustache and a receding hairline. He was
wearing an oxford shirt and a dark bow tie.
The suspect may have had accomplices, police said.
"We believe (there) may be ... more than one individual
involved in the shooting, although there was only one shooter in
the vehicle," Lt. Ross Moen said.
A videotape seized in Houston could shed more light on the
March 9 killing outside a party, police said. They would not say
what was on the tape or how it would help.
"We believe the videotape will be instrumental in solving
this case," Moen said.
The 24-year-old rapper, born Christopher Wallace, was shot as
he was about to leave the party in a GMC Suburban.
Descriptions of the gunman came from two of the six people in
the Suburban with Wallace at the time he was shot, Moen said. Not
all the witnesses in the vehicle have cooperated.
